Free casting class: novice to intermediate

Hosted by Ken Kanemoto - Certified Instructor

This free 1-1.5 hour class will give tips that create casts with better efficiency (less effort) and at the same time, better accuracy, more distance, more resistance to wind, and more “shoot-ability”.  You will receive techniques and drills to help you accomplish better loops.  The goal is to be more proficient at placing your fly where you want, and by doing so, catch more fish!

No need to bring any fishing equipment.  Just bring eye protection, glasses or sunglasses for those who want to cast the instructor's rod with high visibility line.

We will meet at the NE Corner of 18th and Spencer Street.  People can park along Spencer St north of that intersection which is along the park.

Class is free, but please register here so we know you are coming. Youth ages 13 and up are welcome when accompanied by adult.
